Hue & Cry to perform at BBC 6 Music 10th Anniversary Funk & Soul Special

Absolute are elated to be letting you know that Hue and Cry have been invited to take part in the BBC 6 Music 10th Anniversary Funk & Soul Special with the popular BBC 6 Music presenter Craig Charles as part of his Funk and Soul Show.
The performance will be recorded on Thursday, February 16th when Pat and Greg Kane will be joining a host of some of the country’s finest musicians to join the Fantasy Funk Band to record funk classics and soul standards with a contemporary twist. The Fantasy Funk Band will be headed by the legendary James Taylor.
Pat and Greg will bring some Hue and Cry magic to the track ‘I Wanna Be Your Dog’ originally recorded by Iggy Pop and the Stooges.
The show will be airing on March 10th (7pm – 10pm) as part of the BBC 6 Music birthday programme.
